BELLEVILLE — To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $3,157,266 contract to resurface Wis. 92 between East Avenue in Belleville and U.S. 14 in Edgerton, Dane and Green counties. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin July 28.

Payne & Dolan is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to replace deteriorating pavement by resurfacing 13 miles of Wis. 92 between Belleville and Edgerton. Existing pavement will be resurfaced, centerline rumble strips will be added to improve safety and existing curb ramps in Brooklyn will be updated to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

During construction, Wis. 92 will remain open under flagging operations.

Project completion is scheduled for late October 2025. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
