Alice Place senior living is expected to open this fall on Monroe’s northwest side at 124 County Road N. The 47-unit affordable housing community will offer 1-2 bedroom floor plans for adults 55-years and over. Units will have open concept layouts with in-unity laundry, full kitchens and private patios or balconies. MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers, together with Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) CEO and Executive Director Elmer Moore Jr., announced a $20 million investment to provide funding to help fill financing gaps for affordable multifamily developments that received 2020 and 2021 federal or state housing tax credits.
