MONTICELLO - "The Price Is Right" game show episode with Ryan Ritschard, 21, Monticello, as a contestant has been rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 24.
Ritschard said he received an e-mail from CBS at about 12:45 p.m. Monday, telling him the show had been moved to Friday. The show was originally scheduled to air at 10 a.m. Monday.
Ritschard was watching the show himself Monday.
"I thought, 'Oh, no, this isn't the right one,'" Ritschard said Monday afternoon. "And I told all my friends and family to watch it that day."
Ritschard was a little distraught after discovering his appearance was postponed because people aren't believing he won anything on the show, he said.
"My mom called the CBS station ... and they said the show with me will be on at 10 a.m. Friday," he said.
The Monroe Times will publish a follow-up story on Ritschard's experience on the show after the episode airs.
