MONROE - The 15th annual Lighted Christmas Parade will take place at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 around the Monroe Square.

The parade travels from Monroe Middle School around the Square and back. It is sponsored by Main Street Monroe and Precision Drive and Control Inc. Individuals, businesses and organizations can participate; Entry forms are available online at mainstreetmonroe.org.

A limited number of generators for parade entries can be reserved from PDC on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a generator, contact Susie Krueger at PDC with power requirements (i.e., Christmas lights only, lights and audio speaker or lights and live music) before Nov. 25.

There will be only one Santa and Mrs. Claus, provided by Main Street Monroe, in the parade.

The Monroe Noon Optimists will host Santa and Mrs. Claus after the parade at the Wisconsin Bank & Trust for crafts, hot chocolate, treats and a photo with Santa.
