Education program aims to build community leadership

MONROE - Green County Leaders is seeking motivated individuals who are interested in learning, self-discovery, community issues and networking.

Application forms, along with more information, are available online at www.greencountyleaders.com or at the Green County UW-Extension office, 2841 6th St. Applications will be accepted from now until July 18. Scholarships are available to assist with tuition for qualifying participants.

Green County Leaders is an education program designed to help build community leadership. Participants meet one day per month for nine months. Programs focus on building community leadership skills and raising awareness of community issues, including local government, healthcare, economic development and education.
