MONITCELLO - Sometimes the urge to communicate with other artists, show work together, and celebrate their efforts seems the right thing to do; so, the Driftless Area Artists group has been meeting for around five years.

The Balcony Gallery, 203 N. Main St., Monticello, is hosting such a celebration from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, for a reception and show of work on the theme of Paths Less Traveled. Meet the artistis, enjoy refreshments and view how artists interpreted this theme.
