DOT to hold public meeting for Wis. 69 project at Monticello

MONTICELLO — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss intersection improvements on Wis. 69 intersections with Wittenwyler and County C near Monticello in Green County.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12,  from 5-6:30 p.m. at Monticello Town Hall, 238 N Main Street, Monticello. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements. A presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m., the remainder of the meeting will follow an open house format.

The project will include the addition of a southbound left turn lane at the Wittenwyler Road intersection and the inclusion of a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of County C/Urban Road. Wis. 69 will remain open during construction under flagging operations. Construction is scheduled for 2026.
