BRODHEAD - Deer hunters who want to put deer hides to good use may donate them this year to aid people with disabilities.

The Brodhead Lions Club is sponsoring a deer hide collection at Brodhead Veterinary Medical Center, W1175 Wisconsin 11/81.

All proceeds from the deer hides will be used for the Wisconsin Lions Camp to help serve the needs of others.

The Camp began in 1956 and is dedicated to providing a quality camping experience for people with disabilities. There is no cost for participation in the summer camp program, so contributions are vital to the operation of the camp.

To donate hides, contact Lions Club member Ted Mertens at 608-558-1198, Dennis Miller at 608-558-1318, the Brodhead Lions Club at 608-558-1198 or visit the Wisconsin Lions Foundation website at www.wlf.info. Hides will be collected until Dec. 10.
