A consortium of school districts, including Monroe, Juda, Monticello and New Glarus apply together for the yearly Carl Perkins Career and Technical Education Grant, according to Monroe District Administrator Cory Hirsbrunner.
This year, the consortium received a $26,260 award, approved Monday by the Monroe school board. The Monroe district manages the grant.
Hirsbrunner said each district's share of the grant is still approximate and could change, but as of now, the amounts are as follows: Juda, $1,729; Monticello, $2,043; New Glarus, $3,936; and Monroe, $18,552.
