DARLINGTON — A new and unique apartment community, The Meadows, is opening soon in Darlington. This specialty community stands out from others as it is available exclusively to agriculture and farmworkers and their families. Rents are calculated based on 30% of household income. Apartments are available for move in starting October 1.

At least one member of a household must be employed on a farm or in the transportation or processing of agricultural products. Examples include working on a dairy farm, working as a truck driver bringing harvested crops to a production facility, or working in a cheese processing plant. There are also homes available with a requirement to be occupied by a farmworker who also has one member of the household with a disability.

The brand new 2- and 3-bedroom apartment homes feature two bathrooms, spacious kitchens with all appliances, washer/dryer, and free internet. An onsite community room will feature outreach programs including English as a Second Language (ESL), employment and social service access assistance, and translation services.

Interested residents should contact Wisconsin Management Company at 1-800-578-2270 for more information and an opportunity to apply.
