MONROE - Green County Tourism, along with the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, is partnering with local businesses and tourism attractions to offer a free seminar focused on building the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver quality customer service to travelers as well as local residents.

"Customer Service - Bringing Fun into Life" will be presented at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 27 at the Green County Courthouse, 1016 16th Ave. Patrick Reinsma, regional tourism specialist for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, will conduct the one-hour training program.

The program is targeted to motels, restaurants, retail and convenience stores and any other businesses with front-line employees who are often the first people to come into contact with travelers and customers. Also encouraged to attend are volunteers at museums and attractions, managers, and anyone with an interest in improving customer relations for their business or organization.

The goals of the program are to build the foundation for elevating the level of customer service standards, provide information on tourism resources, and increase regional awareness and pride in the Green County area.
