MONROE - All county employees, with the exception of law enforcement, will get a 1.5-percent salary increase in 2017.
The Green County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the pay increase Tuesday. The measure includes department heads, unrepresented employees, elected officials and union employees with the exception of those in the Wisconsin Professional Police Association union.
The 2017 budget includes the increases, which will total almost $227,000 more in direct payroll costs and $104,000 more in benefits.
Last December, the board gave employees a 1-percent increase for 2016.
Supervisor Kate Maresch was absent.
