MONROE - Plans by Monroe Clinic to build a hospice center on land at Pleasant View Park are expected to take a step forward Tuesday when the county board considers leasing the land to the medical facility. The Green County board of supervisors is scheduled to consider a resolution authorizing the county to lease about 13 acres of land to Monroe Clinic for $1 per year for 99 years. The patch of wooded land is currently a county park located just west of the Pleasant View Complex off Wisconsin 81 northwest of the city limits.
