BRODHEAD - The Brodhead City Council will continue its closed session discussion about Fire Chief Jay Bohan's performance next week.
The council met in closed session Monday night to discuss his performance. Mayor Doug Pinnow issued the following statement Tuesday morning: "We're continuing to evaluate the performance of the fire chief with possible determination on re-appointment continued to the next meeting," on Tuesday.
The council may or may not act at that meeting, he said.
City Attorney Mark Schroeder said Monday a mediator is involved in reference to the fire chief and "some individuals" but declined to elaborate.
