MONROE — No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle crash at 11:07 p.m. Sept. 25 in the W5200 block of County W, Town of New Glarus. Dennis M. Komar, 49, Monroe, was eastbound when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer, exited the roadway and collided with a power pole. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. Komar was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol and cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control. He was released pending court.
On Sept. 26:
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle crash at 2:13 a.m. in the N6800 block of County X, Town of Albany. Kyle J. Hulbert, 21, Albany, was southbound when he reported he was using his cellphone. He failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, exited the roadway, collided with a culvert and entered a field. He then fled the scene. His vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Hulbert was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control, inattentive driving, failure to notify law enforcement of an accident and displaying false registration.
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle crash at 2:14 p.m. in the W1000 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove. Jaden R. Clark, 16, Monroe, was westbound and turning into a driveway when he lost control and entered the ditch. The vehicle then collided with a fence and with a legally parked vehicle. Clark’s vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Clark was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control.

DARLINGTON — On Sept. 20:
● Rebecca K. Gassen, 32, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 10:32 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Her 2012 Dodge sustained minor damage.
● Shullsburg EMS and the Apple River Fire Department responded for a rollover crash at 12:29 p.m. on County P, Town of Monticello. Deputies assisted. Nipun N. Dubey, 22, Naperville, Illinois, was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control. Dubey’s 2019 Kia sustained severe damage and was towed.
