MONROE — Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries at the intersection of 4th Avenue West and West 8th Street at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18. Mina L. Davis, 53, Argyle, was eastbound on West 8th Street when she made a left turn across the path of a westbound vehicle driven by a 68-year-old Orangeville woman. The vehicles sustained moderate damage but were driven from the scene. Davis was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while making a left turn.

●  A two-vehicle accident was reported at 8:22 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, in the 400 block of 8th Street. Kyle K. Johnson, 18, Illinois, was westbound when he rear-ended a vehicle turning into a business. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were removed by the drivers. Johnson was cited for following too closely.

●  Officers came upon a one-vehicle accident at 2:25 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22. Cortney D. Johnson, 25, Blanchardville, was turning north onto 6th Avenue West from West 8th Street when she struck the curb of the median, causing her vehicle to become disabled. Investigation led to her arrest on first-offense charges of operating while intoxicated and operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration. Her vehicle was towed. She was booked and released pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — A two-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries was reported on Wis. 39 at Klitzke Road at 6:37 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19. Michael McCorkle Jr., 30, Monroe, was westbound on Wis. 39 when he attempted a U-turn to drive back eastbound. He collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by Larry Jelle, 70, New Glarus. The impact caused both vehicles to go off the road. McCorkle and Jelle needed to be extricated from their vehicles. They were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries. The airbags deployed in McCorkle’s vehicle. Both vehicles were towed due to disabling damage. The accident remained under investigation.

On Friday, Sept. 20:

●  Christopher M. Orr, 32, Blanchardville, reported no injuries from a car vs. deer accident at 12:30 a.m. in the W6200 block of Wis. 39, Town of New Glarus. The vehicle sustained functional damage and was removed by Orr.

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 9:36 a.m. in the Town of Cadiz. Christopher Sniezek, 30, rural Browntown, was at the stop sign on County MM at Wis. 11 and had pulled forward slightly to see around a vehicle that was turning onto County MM from Wis. 11 when his vehicle was struck by a westbound semi-tractor trailer on Wis. 11. Both Sniezek’s vehicle and the semi-tractor trailer driven by Christopher Redfield, 39, Plainfield, sustained functional damage. They were removed by the drivers.

●  Katrina M. Sarow, 26, Albany, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle accident on 2:46 p.m. in the N3800 block of County F, Town of Decatur. She was northbound and cresting a hill when a vehicle driven by Andrew J. Skog, 30, Darlington, pulled out of a driveway to head northbound. She swerved into the southbound lane to avoid hitting him and hit a guardrail. Her vehicle sustained minor damage to the driver’s side.

●  Both drivers and a child passenger sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash reported at 3:14 p.m. in the Town of Albany. Gregory Kaderly, 34, Brodhead, was stopped on Wis. 104 and starting to turn left onto Wis. 59 when he did not see a northbound vehicle on Wis. 104 driven by Brittni Murray, 31, Brodhead. The vehicles collided. Kaderly, Murray and her passenger, 1-year-old Audrey J. Ackley, Brodhead, sustained non-life threatening injuries. Murray and Ackley were transported to a hospital by ambulance. Kaderly declined transport by EMS. The airbags deployed in Murray’s vehicle. Both vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed. Kaderly was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign.

●  Amanda Guthrie, 44, Argyle, reported a vehicle vs. deer crash at 6:35 p.m. in the W2900 block of County C, Town of Albany. The vehicle occupants were uninjured. The vehicle sustained minor damage. The deer fled the scene.

●  Megan Anders, 31, Brodhead, reported no injuries from a car vs. raccoon crash at 10:10 p.m. in the N7200 block of Wis. 104, Town of Albany. She was southbound when the raccoon ran across the road. It caused functional damage to the front bumper and front left wheel well. The vehicle was removed from the scene by the owner. The raccoon fled the scene.

On Sunday, Sept. 22:

●  Deputies located a two-vehicle crash with injuries at 5:19 p.m. in the Town of Spring Grove. Juda First Response and Green County EMS assisted on scene. Lessia I. Brown, 59, Brodhead, was westbound on Wis. 11 when she stopped to turn south onto County OK. She was rear-ended by a westbound vehicle driven by Chloe M. Hadley, 17, Brodhead. Chloe and her passenger Garrett A. Hadley, 15, Brodhead, reported no injuries. The Hadley vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Brown was injured in the crash and transported by Green County EMS to the Monroe Clinic ER. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and remained on scene. Chloe Hadley was cited for following too closely.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Sunday, Sept. 15:

●  A semi-truck vs. truck and trailer accident was reported at 9:18 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. Riley A. Schuetz, 24, Darlington, was eastbound in a 2001 Chevrolet pulling a trailer when he slowed to turn north onto County E. He was rear-ended by a 1999 Kenworth semi-truck with a 1988 Siebert trailer driven by John R. Anderson, 55, Monticello, who was attempting to pass in a no-passing zone. Anderson’s semi-truck pushed Schuetz’s truck and trailer into the north ditch. Schuetz was cited for failure to signal and Anderson was cited for passing in a no-passing zone. Both drivers reported minor injuries. Their vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed. The Shullsburg Fire Department and Shullsburg EMS assisted deputies on scene.

On Tuesday, Sept. 17:

●  Tannar L. Johnson, 26, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 6:40 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. The 2014 GMC sustained minor damage.

●  Bradley L. Root, 63, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 7:54 p.m. on County N, Town of Argyle. The 2017 Toyota sustained minor damage.
