MONROE — On Aug. 19:
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 5:31 a.m. on Wis. 69 and 8th Street. Michael G. Meyers, 44, Monroe, failed to yield the right of way from a flashing red light and hit a vehicle operated by Curtis R. Riese, 62, Monroe. Both vehicles sustained debilitating damage. Both were towed. Meyers was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
● A two-vehicle crash was reported at 2:35 p.m. in the 1600 block of 9th Street. Laurel L. Teasdale, 50, Monroe, was stopped in traffic when a vehicle operated by a 16-year-old male rear-ended her. She reported neck pain but declined medical treatment. The 16-year-old was cited for driving as a permitted without a parent.
