Green County Sheriff

MONROE — A vehicle missing a tire traveling on the roadway was reported at 7:42 p.m. Sept. 28 in the N7800 block of County X, Town of Exeter. Investigation revealed Miguel A. Hernandez Cordova, 46, Brooklyn, had lost control and crashed. He was not injured. His vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. He was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol and cited for failure to keep vehicle under control, open intoxicants in vehicle, failure to notify police of an accident and driving without a valid license. He was released pending court.

●  No injuries were reported from a vehicle vs. building crash at 8:22 p.m. Sept. 29 in the N5300 block of Wis. 104, Town of Albany. Shaun L. Koss, 39, Albany, was northbound when he reported he swerved to miss an animal in the road. He lost control, exited the roadway, entered private property and collided with a greenhouse building. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. Koss was cited for driving with a suspended license, failure to keep vehicle under control and no vehicle insurance.

DARLINGTON — On Sept. 20:

●  Timothy J. Johnston, 32, Benton, was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries from a one-vehicle rollover reported at 2:41 p.m. Sept. 22 on County W, Town of Benton. He was westbound when he lost control of his 2002 Chevrolet, causing it to overturn. The Chevrolet sustained severe damage. It was towed. The Benton Fire Department, Benton First Response and Hazel Green EMS assisted. The accident remains under investigation.

●  John H. Herbst, 42, Gratiot, reported hitting a cow in the road at 9:50 p.m. Sept. 23 on County M, Town of Wiota. No injuries were reported. His 2015 Ford sustained minor damage.

On Sept. 25:

●  Belmont Fire and Belmont EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident at 4:45 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. Deborah K. Symons, 62, East Dubuque, Illinois, was eastbound when she was hit from behind by Nicole M. Wiegel, 28, Darlington. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed. Symons was arrested on three warrants and booked at the jail. She posted bond and was released.

●  Michael J. Flanagan, 47, Woodford, reported leaving the roadway at 4:59 p.m. on County M, Town of Argyle. His 2007 Dodge sustained minor damage.

●  Jordan M. Mumm, 23, Platteville, reported hitting a deer at 7:57 p.m. on County G, Town of Argyle. The 2016 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage. It was towed. 

On Sept. 28:

●  Talia L. Rothenbuehler, 30, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 7:35 a.m. on County F, Town of Darlington. Her 2017 Jeep sustained minor damage.

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 7:55 p.m. on Wis. 126, Town of Belmont. Kayla Barnes, 30, Blanchardville, was northbound when she pulled to the side of the road to remove debris from the roadway. Shane D. Nodolf, 30, Belmont, came over the hill and side-swiped Barnes’ 2010 Toyota, causing it severe damage. It was towed. Nodolf’s 2014 Dodge sustained minor damage.

●  Brian A. Mundt, 58, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 8:20 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont. His 2005 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.

●  Jeremy L. Hefty, 38, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 10:50 p.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard. His 2007 Ford sustained minor damage. 

On Sept. 29:

●  Zackery D. Hagen, 26, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 6:14 a.m. on Meier Road, Town of Wayne. His 2015 Jeep sustained minor damage.
