DARLINGTON —  On Friday, Oct. 11:

●  Woody V. Wilson, 74, Stockton, Illinois, was transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment of minor injuries following a one-vehicle accident reported at 11:53 a.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings. He was eastbound when he lost control, causing the vehicle to enter the south shoulder. He attempted to correct and crossed the highway, entering the north shoulder, overturning and coming to rest in a cornfield. His 2001 Pontiac sustained severe damage and was towed. The Benton Police and Fire Departments, Benton First Response and Hazel Green EMS assisted a deputy on scene.

On Saturday, Oct. 12:

●  A vehicle vs. construction lift accident with no injuries was reported at 7:52 a.m. on East Liberty Street in Belmont. Laura R. Bahr, 40, Belmont, was parking in a commercial lot when her vehicle was backed into by a construction lift operated by Kevin L. Croft, 54, Dubuque, Iowa. Bahr’s 2017 GMC sustained minor damage.

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:18 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard. Thomasina Beranek, 18, Argyle, lost control of the 2015 Chrysler she was driving, left the road and entered the ditch. Her passenger Curtis A. Fussell, 20, Argyle, reported minor injuries. The vehicle was towed. Blanchardville police, fire and EMS assisted on scene.

On Sunday, Oct. 13:

●  Allynn E. Gertsch, 69, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 6:35 a.m. on Walnut Road, Town of Wiota. No injuries were reported. The 2011 Ford sustained minor damage.

●  Jennifer A. Proud, 46, Montello, reported hitting a deer at 11:43 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. No injuries were reported. Her 2015 Volkswagen sustained severe damage and was towed.
