MONROE — On May 11:

●  Wayne Bue, 75, Mount Horeb, was injured in a one-vehicle crash reported at 11:56 a.m. in the N9600 block of Hay Hollow Road, Town of York. He was northbound when his vehicle crossed the centerline and hit a tree. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Blanchardville EMS assisted deputies on scene.

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 5:45 p.m. in the N8400 block of Marty Road, Town of New Glarus. Kaitlyn M. Dunham, 20, Monroe, was stopped and attempting to turn around in the roadway. Joshua J. Ubersox, 39, Monroe, was attempting to pass her when he hit her vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

On May 13:

●  Douglas J. Nonn, 58, Brooklyn, reported no injuries from a tractor fire at 4:03 p.m. in the W1800 block of Zweifel Road, Town of Brooklyn. He was operating the tractor on the roadway when it started on fire. He stopped the tractor and dismounted prior to the fire spreading. The tractor sustained severe damage and was moved off the road. The Brooklyn Fire Department assisted deputies on scene.

On May 14:

●  Jeffery C. Fess, 58, Waunakee, sustained non-life threatening injuries in a one-vehicle crash reported at 9:21 p.m. in the W1700 block of County EE, Town of Albany. He was eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control. His vehicle entered the ditch. It sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Fess was taken by Albany EMS to Monroe Clinic ER. The Albany Fire Department assisted deputies on scene. Fess was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control, failure to wear a seatbelt and no vehicle insurance.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 12:01 p.m. May 20 along Wis. 11 in the Town of Sylvester. Investigating deputies discovered a tanker truck had been spilling globs of a “mush-like” substance similar to the consistency of mashed potatoes every 50-75 feet as it traveled along County S and Wis. 11. The substance was later identified as a farm milk product similar to whey. Lafayette County deputies located the tanker, which is owned by Darlington Ridge Farms. The driver, Donald Kent, 61, Shullsburg, was cited for failure to maintain load. Crews spent several hours cleaning the roads with sweepers.

DARLINGTON — No injuries were reported from a vehicle vs. cow crash at 9:30 p.m. May 11 on Red Rock Road, Town of Darlington. Allynn E. Gertsch, 70, Darlington, was northbound on Red Rock Road when he hit a cow that came out of the field from the west side of the road. Gertsch’s 2011 Ford sustained severe damage and was driven from the scene.

●  Krystal L. Wild, 29, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 7:28 a.m. May 15 on County M, Town of Woodford. The 2015 Dodge sustained minor damage. It was driven from the scene.

●  An ATV rollover crash with injuries was reported at 6:24 p.m. May 16 on Red Rock Road, Town of Darlington. Brian J. Basile, 31, Pecatonica, was operating the ATV when he hit the east side of the bridge, causing the ATV to roll and injure his passenger, Patrick D. Basile, 25, also of Pecatonica. Assisting deputies on scene were the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Darlington police, Monroe police, Green County Sheriff’s Office and Green County EMS of Darlington. The accident remained under investigation.

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 11:09 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. Analia A. Jimenez-Aleman, 40, Darlington, was eastbound when she lost control, causing the vehicle to enter the ditch. The 2005 Kia, owned by Jose I. Velasquez-Pena of Darlington, was severely damaged and towed. Jimenez-Aleman was cited for driving without a valid license, failure to maintain control and no vehicle insurance.

●  Stephanie L. Beranek, 25, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:59 p.m. May 18 on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. No injuries were reported. The 2018 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

●  Susan R. Miller, 65, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 3:36 a.m. May 19 on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. The 2002 Buick sustained severe damage. It was towed.

●  Doreen L. Doyle, 57, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 6:10 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. Doyle was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries by Green County EMS of Darlington. The 2017 Buick sustained severe damage. It was towed. A deputy and the Darlington Fire Department assisted on scene.
