Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — Jordan M. Petrie, 26, Monroe, was injured in a one-vehicle crash reported in the W2800 block of Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester, at 4:31 p.m. Thursday, May 9. He was transported by ambulance for further evaluation and treatment of his injuries. He was westbound when he fell asleep, causing his vehicle to enter the north shoulder. He then overcorrected and lost control. The vehicle went into the north ditch and hit a tree. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Petrie was cited for inattentive driving.

●  Timothy M. Thingvold, 32, Brodhead, reported minor injuries from a one-vehicle crash in the W700 block of Ten Eyck Road, Town of Decatur, at 8:55 p.m. Friday, May 10. He was eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, exited the road and crashed into the embankment. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Thingvold was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and cited for driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration. He was released pending court.

●  Minor injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Wis. 11 and Dill Road in the Town of Cadiz at 9:41 a.m. Monday, May 13. Jessica M. Roesch, 31, Gratiot, was westbound on Wis. 11 when she attempted to slow down for a vehicle in front of her that was preparing to turn left onto Dill Road. Her foot slipped off the brake pedal and she collided with the vehicle. The other driver, Matthew D. Wool, 26, Freeport, sustained minor injuries. Wool’s vehicle was damaged but he was able to drive it from the scene. Roesh was uninjured. Her vehicle was damaged but she was also able to drive it from the scene. Roesch was cited for following too closely. 

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash in the N100 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno, at 5:02 a.m. Tuesday, May 14. Alexander C. Baumann, 19, Baileyville, Illinois, was southbound when he crossed the centerline and side-swiped a northbound vehicle driven by Adam L. Coulthard, 35, Lena. Baumann’s vehicle sustained damage, but he was able to drive it from the scene. Coulthard’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and remained on scene pending repairs or a tow. Baumann was cited for operating left of center.

DARLINGTON — On Friday, May 10:

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:06 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. A deputy, the Darlington Fire Department and Green County EMS of Darlington responded.

●  Julie M. Havens, 59, Monticello, reported hitting a deer at 8:47 p.m. on Rollercoaster Road, Town of Darlington. No injuries were reported. Her 2013 Toyota sustained moderate damage.

●  No injuries were reported from a vehicle vs. cow crash at 9:45 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. Brittany A. Edge, 34, Dubuque, Iowa, was westbound when she hit a cow that was in the roadway. Edge’s 2011 Ford sustained severe damage. It was towed.

●  Michael J. Raab, 23, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 9:59 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. His 2006 Volkswagen sustained moderate damage.

On Saturday, May 11:

●  Dana M. Hall, 28, Janesville, reported hitting a deer at 2:08 p.m. on South Lake Road, Town of Fayette. No injuries were reported. The 2009 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage.

On Sunday, May 12:

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 5:36 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 7:07 p.m. on North Lake Road, Town of Fayette. As a result, Jeffrey L. Sies, 29, New Glarus, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated. He was also cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was released to a responsible party. The Argyle Fire Department and Argyle EMS assisted deputies at the accident scene.

●  Joseph T. McComish, 33, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 9:33 p.m. on County O, Town of Seymour. No injuries were reported. The 2016 GMC sustained minor damage.
