MONROE — A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported in the 500 block of 8th Avenue at 12:49 p.m. Sunday, March 24. Eunice M. Bergum, 85, South Wayne, collided with a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old Madison man. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Bergum was cited for failure to yield from a sign or signal.

MONROE — Madison M. Bezik, 28, Monroe, and Randall L. Rimington, 67, Orangeville, reported no injuries from a semi vs. vehicle crash in the Town of Monroe at 12:08 p.m. Tuesday, March 26. Bezik was stopped in the westbound lane of Wis. 81, waiting to turn south onto County N. Two semi units were traveling behind her. The first semi passed her on the right and turned north onto County N. The second semi, driven by Rimington, struck Bezik’s vehicle. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage, and her airbags deployed. Her vehicle was towed. Rimington’s semi tractor also sustained disabling damage and was towed. His semi trailer was undamaged. Bezik was cited for driving with a revoked license. Rimington was cited for following too closely.

DARLINGTON — James G. Rufenacht, 50, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota, at 5:06 a.m. Tuesday, March 26. No injuries were reported. The 2000 Jeep sustained severe damage and was towed.
On Wednesday, March 27:
● Heather J. Jenamann, 32, Cuba City, reported hitting a deer at 3:12 a.m. on Twin Bridge Road, Town of Benton. No injuries were reported. The 2005 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was towed.
● Mary L. Dalton, 65, Monroe, reported hitting a deer at 7:06 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. No injuries were reported. The 2009 Pontiac sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
● Kyle D. Hay, 41, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 7:42 p.m. on Fritzges Road, Town of Wayne. No injuries were reported. The 2017 Chevrolet sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
● A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 9:42 p.m. on County KK, Town of Gratiot.
