MONROE — On Saturday, March 9, 2019:

●  A two-vehicle crash was reported at 2:12 p.m. at the intersection of Advance Road and Schueyville Road, Town of Clarno. Amanda L. Sanzenbacher, 24, Monroe, was facing westbound and stopped at the stop sign on Advance Road. As a result of snow piled along the road, she was unable to see northbound traffic and proceeded into the intersection, where her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by Tessa M. Hurlbert, 22, Monroe. Sanzenbacher and her two juvenile passengers reported no injuries. Hurlbert also reported no injuries. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and airbag deployment and were towed.

●  Patrick Rose, 35, Monroe, and his three passengers were uninjured in a one-vehicle crash reported at 5:36 p.m. in the W5100 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe. Rose was eastbound when he lost control on the snow-covered, slippery road. His vehicle entered the ditch and collided with a traffic sign. The vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.

●  Phyllis R. Anderson, 82, Brodhead, and her passenger Mark P. Anderson, 48, Brodhead, had to be extricated from her vehicle following a rollover crash reported at 5:57 p.m. in the N4200 block of Wis. 104, Town of Decatur. Phyllis was southbound when she lost control due to the slick and wet road conditions. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled onto the driver’s side. Phyllis reported no injuries. Mark reported injuries but declined medical attention. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. Brodhead EMS and the Brodhead Fire Department assisted deputies at the scene.

●  Marhquell J. Drake, 19, Madison, and his passenger reported no injuries after deputies and Monticello police responded at 7 p.m. to a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Drake was westbound when he lost control. The vehicle entered the ditch and struck a reflective pole. The vehicle sustained minor damage. Drake was arrested on a first-offense, drug-related charge of operating while intoxicated. He was also cited for driving without vehicle insurance, failure to notify law enforcement of an accident and failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle. He was released to a responsible party pending court.

●  Josephine L. Hawkins, 79, Brodhead, and her four passengers were uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 7:45 p.m. in the W4900 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe. She was eastbound when she lost control. The vehicle entered the ditch and collided with a traffic sign. The vehicle sustained functional damage, was towed out of the ditch and later driven from the scene. All but one passenger were wearing seatbelts. That passenger, Damion R. Buggs, 19, Janesville, was cited for riding in a vehicle without wearing a seatbelt. A second passenger, Robert L. Prinkey Jr., 46, Orfordville, was subsequently arrested for violating a domestic abuse injunction. He was jailed pending cash bond or court.

●  Rick L. Busch, 53, Blanchardville, and his passenger reported no injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 10:58 p.m. on Wis. 81 at Rat Hollow Road, Town of Adams. Busch was westbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to snow on the road. The vehicle entered the ditch and collided with a traffic sign. The vehicle sustained functional damage. It was towed out of the ditch and later driven from the scene. Busch was cited for failure to maintain control, non-registration of an auto and driving without vehicle insurance.

On Wednesday, March 13:

●  Joseph R. Johnson, 42, Monticello, and his passengers, and David W. Sink, 52, Blanchardville, reported no injuries from a two-vehicle crash at 10:32 a.m. on Silver Road, just north of County EE, Town of Mount Pleasant. Johnson was northbound, after turning from County EE, when his vehicle struck side mirrors with a southbound vehicle driven by Sink. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene. Flowing water across the roadway was reported as a contributing factor in the crash.
