MONROE — On July 6:
● Jesse R. Thompson, 41, Brodhead, was transported by Albany EMS to Monroe Clinic Emergency Room for non-life threatening injuries sustained from a motorcycle crash at 6:30 a.m. in the N5000 block of County E, Town of Albany. He was northbound when he lost traction due to gravel on the roadway causing the motorcycle to overturn and slide off the roadway. His motorcycle sustained damage. It was towed. Albany Fire Department assisted.
● No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 1:11 p.m. in the N6400 block of County J, Town of Washington. Samantha J. Woodmansee, 52, Blanchardville, swerved to avoid colliding with a semi unit that entered her lane of travel, operated by Timothy R. Conley, 59, Albany. She exited the roadway and hit a tree. Her vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Conley was cited for inattentive driving.
● Non-life threatening injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 2:39 p.m. in the N2100 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno. Ward F. Steinmann Jr., 43, Juda, was pulling a trailer and traveling south and stopped to wait to make a left turn into a driveway. Madisyn F. Brandt, 16, Browntown, was traveling south behind Steinmann and hit his truck. The truck sustained functional damage. Brandt’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. It was towed. She was cited for inattentive driving.
On July 9:
● A multiple-vehicle crash with injuries was reported at 12:17 p.m. 9 in the W2200 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove. This remains under investigation. Juda First Response and Green County EMS assisted.
On July 10:
● Non-life threatening injuries were reported from a car vs. deer crash at 10:27 p.m. in the N4300 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. Correy A. Hartwick, 41, Monroe, was southbound when a deer entered the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle sustained damage. It was towed. A passenger, Tana L. Myers, 67, Monroe, sustained injuries. Another passenger, Lindsay A. Armitage, 30, Monroe, was transported by Green County EMS to Monroe Clinic Emergency Room for her injuries. Monroe Rural Fire Department assisted.
