MONROE — A vehicle vs. steer crash with injuries was reported in the N6000 block of County J, Town of Adams, at 9:41 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5. A vehicle driven by Jamie L. Brooks, 23, Dakota, Illinois, was southbound when it hit a steer in the road. Brooks and passenger Dawayne Q. Clark Jr., 27, Freeport, were transported by ambulance for treatment of injuries. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Argyle EMS, Blanchardville EMS and the Argyle Fire Department assisted deputies on scene.

DARLINGTON — On Sunday, Dec. 22:

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 4:37 a.m. on County U, Town of Seymour. Travian J. Rucker, 16, Platteville, was southbound when he lost control due to road conditions, hit a power pole and came to rest in the ditch. The 2004 Chevrolet was towed. The Darlington Fire Department and Green County EMS of Darlington assisted a deputy on scene.
