MONROE — No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle accident at 7:12 p.m. Jan. 16 on 19th Street and 11th Avenue. Dale K. Stauffacher, 59, Monroe, was traveling west on 19th Street when he left the roadway and hit a stop sign post. The vehicle sustained minor damage. It was towed. He was arrested on a fourth-offense charge of operating while intoxicated. He was cited for failure to maintain control of vehicle. He was additionally charged with battery to law enforcement and resisting officers while at Monroe Clinic Hospital Emergency Room. He was jailed.

MONROE — On Jan. 12:
● No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 7:08 p.m. in the W400 block of Wis. 59, Town of Albany. Scott A. Schenk, 44, Albany, was eastbound when his vehicle exited the roadway and collided with a utility pole. His vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. He was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control, open intoxicants in vehicle and driving without proof of insurance. Alliant Energy responded to make repairs to utility pole.
● Jason C. Brewer, 45, Albany, was transported by Albany EMS to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries sustained from a two-vehicle crash at 9:08 p.m. in the N7400 block of County E, Town of Brooklyn. He was northbound when his vehicle collided with a vehicle that pulled onto the east shoulder operated by John S. Page, 25, New Glarus. After the collision, Brewer’s vehicle entered the ditch and collided with a utility pole. Page and his passenger reported no injuries. His vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was left on scene. Brewer’s vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Brewer was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control. Page was cited for driving after suspension. Albany Fire Department assisted. Alliant Energy responded to make repairs to utility pole.
● No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 6:36 p.m. Jan. 13 in the N6600 block of County E, Town of Albany. Raymond J. Randall, 54, Albany, was southbound when he swerved to miss a deer in the roadway. He entered the west ditch and collided with a culvert. The vehicle sustained severe damage with air bag deployment. It was towed. He was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control.
On Jan. 14:
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 3:26 p.m. in the W1500 block of wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove. Robert T. Alexander, 32, Monroe, was eastbound when he began to slow down for a vehicle in front of him as it was attempting to turn into a driveway. A vehicle traveling east behind him, operated by Alexis L. Smith-Burkhalter, 18, Brodhead, collided with the back of his vehicle. His vehicle sustained damage. Smith-Burkhalter’s vehicle sustained damage. It was towed. Smith-Burkhalter was cited for following too closely.
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 5 p.m. in the N2300 block of Spring Street, Town of Jefferson. Michael D. Brown, 71, Evansville, was backing up when he collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle. The parked vehicle sustained damage. It remained on scene.
● No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 7:31 p.m. on County S and Greenbush Road, Town of Sylvester. Gregory J. Stewart, 58, Brodhead, was northbound on County S when he attempted to turn east onto Greenbush Road and exited the roadway and collided with a stop sign. He then entered the ditch and collided with an embankment. His vehicle sustained damage. It was towed.
On Jan. 15:
● No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 12:42 a.m. on N5800 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington. Ryu R. Voegeli, 27, Monroe, was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the snow-covered road. He exited the roadway and entered the ditch and came to a rest in a field. The vehicle sustained damage with airbag deployment. It was towed. He was cited for non-registration of auto.
● No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 10:52 a.m. on W2800 block of County SS, Town of Sylvester. Donald T. D. Pitman, 22, Albany, was westbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the snow-covered road. He entered the south ditch and collided with a utility pole and a fence. The vehicle sustained damage. It was left on scene. He was cited for driving after suspension, failure to notify law enforcement of an accident and displaying false registration.
● No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 5:57 p.m. in the N7200 block of Wettach Road, Town of Mount Pleasant. Karl B. Schwoerer, 20, Belleville, was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve and exited the roadway and collided with a tree. The vehicle overturned and collided with another tree then came to a rest. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. He was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control.
● No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle crash at 5:31 a.m. Jan. 16 in the W8600 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz. Britnie E. Bender, 25, Dubuque, Iowa, was eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to snow-covered road. She exited the roadway and collided with a traffic sign and entered the south ditch and came to a rest. Her vehicle sustained functional damage.

DARLINGTON — On Dec. 27:
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 10:40 p.m. on Lange Road, Town of Darlington. Joel E. Luna, 27, Darlington, was traveling on Lange Road when his vehicle left the roadway, entered the ditch and hit a fence. His 2008 Honda sustained moderate damage. It was towed. He was cited for failure to maintain control of vehicle and driving without a valid license.
● A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:27 a.m. Dec. 28 on Ollie Bell Road, Town of New Diggings. The vehicle was unoccupied. It was later determined Jennifer L. Ruh, 45, Madison, was northbound when she lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway entering the ditch and hitting a fence. Her 2007 Jeep sustained moderate damage. It was towed. She was cited for no vehicle insurance, failure to maintain control, failure to report an accident and open intoxicants.
On Dec. 29:
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle rollover at 6:13 a.m. on Truman Road, Town of Kendall. Brady L. Gallagher, 24, Darlington, was traveling on Truman Road when she swerved, lost control exiting the roadway and rolled over. Her 2019 Toyota sustained severe damage. It was towed. Belmont Fire Department and Belmont EMS assisted.
● Robert L. Larson, Jr., reported hitting a deer at 7:09 a.m. on County Shop Road, Town of Darlington. His 2010 Toyota sustained minor damage.
On Dec. 30:
● Austton M. Rosebrook, 22, Argyle, reported hitting a vehicle backing out of his driveway operated by Diego R. Armendarez, 22, Argyle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
● Sarah C. Crist, 43, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 3:48 p.m. on King Road, Town of Mineral Point. Her 2014 Chrysler sustained moderate damage.
● No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 9:25 p.m. Dec. 31 on Market Street in Belmont. Monfilio Serrano-Martinez, 35, Cuba City, was westbound when he hit a parked vehicle owned by Jeffrey R. Sue, 45, Darlington. Both vehicles sustained severe damage. They were towed. Martinez was cited on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence and driving after revocation.
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 3:24 p.m. Jan. 3 on College Farm Road, Town of Elk Grove. Collin J. Bays, 20, Friendship, was eastbound when he hit three cows. His 1997 Chevrolet sustained severe damage. It was towed. Platteville Fire Department assisted with traffic control.
● Michael G. Duerst, 60, Verona, reported hitting a deer at 4:32 a.m. Jan. 4 on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. His 2018 Ford sustained moderate damage.
On Jan. 5:
● No injuries were reported from a single-vehicle accident at 5:52 a.m. on County F, Town of Fayette. Tyler R. Smith, 24, Darlington, was traveling on County F when he lost control of his vehicle due to slippery conditions causing him to exit the roadway and enter the ditch.
