Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Non-life threatening injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 6:26 p.m. April 3 in the W2500 block of County FF, Town of Sylvester. Brooke E. Haycraft, 39, Brodhead, was traveling on County FF when her vehicle was hit by a vehicle entering from Decatur Sylvester Road, operated by Jaime R. Tecpile Ithehua, 21, Monroe. Haycraft’s vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Tecpile Ithehua’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. It was towed. He was cited for failure to yield from a yield sign, no vehicle insurance and driving without a valid license.


Lafayette County Sheriff 

DARLINGTON — On March 25: 

●  Southwest Health EMS and Platteville Fire responded for a two-vehicle accident at 6:30 a.m. March 26 on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. Lori L. Gabioud, 53, Darlington, was westbound when she crossed the center line and hit a 2020 Freightliner operated by Mark A. Spensley, 59, Platteville. Both parties denied EMS. Both vehicles sustained severe damage. They were towed. Gabioud was cited for driving left of center. 

● Brian J. Davis, 42, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 4:56 a.m. March 29 on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. His 2018 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage. 

●  Daniel J. Blotz, 50, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 6:41 a.m. March 31 on Gravel Run Road, Town of Lamont. His 2000 Ford sustained minor damage.

●  Minor injuries were reported from a hit-and-run at 6:43 p.m. April 4 on Ollie Bell Road, Town of Benton. Christopher J. Clough, 36, Benton, was westbound when he failed to negotiate a curve. He exited the roadway and hit a fence. His 2004 Saturn sustained severe damage. It was towed. He was cited for no vehicle insurance, failure to keep vehicle under control, driving while suspended and hit-and-run to property adjacent to highway. Benton First Response and Hazel Green EMS assisted.
