Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Friday, March 29:

●  Nicole E. Zimmerman, 33, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 7:12 a.m. on County N, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. The 2017 Infinity sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

●  Charity A. Edgar, 32, Dubuque, Iowa, reported hitting a deer at 7:31 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. No injuries were reported. The 2015 Buick sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On Saturday, March 30:

●  A minor two-vehicle accident was reported at 12:50 p.m. on North Main Street in Blanchardville.

●  A one-vehicle accident with minor injuries was reported at 11:51 p.m. on Center Drive in Darlington. Green County EMS of Darlington responded, with a deputy and Darlington police assisting on scene.

On Sunday, March 31:

●  Daniel M. Hemming, 52, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:51 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. No injuries were reported. The 2013 Ford sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. 


Monroe Police

MONROE — A two-vehicle accident with injuries was reported on Wis. 69 at County DR at 4:23 p.m. Friday, March 29. A vehicle driven by a 28-year-old Lena woman was northbound on Wis. 69 when it was struck by a vehicle driven by Ronald E. Massen, 87, Brodhead, who was turning south onto Wis. 69 from County DR. All injured parties declined medical attention. Both vehicles sustained severe damage and were towed. Massen was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — James D. Drewel, 48, Evansville, had injuries but declined medical attention following a one-vehicle crash reported in the W1300 block of Wis. 59, Town of Albany, at 1:39 a.m. Thursday, March 28. Drewel was eastbound when he collided with a semi tire that was in the roadway. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed.
