William D. "Billie" Pryce

William D. "Billie" Pryce, age 90, of Monroe, formerly Albany, died on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. He was born on August 13, 1924, the son of Burtram and Zula (Gillette) Pryce. He was a graduate of Albany High School. Billie and Marilyn B. Flora were married on April 5, 1946 at the Albany United Methodist Church. Billie farmed in Decatur Township all of his life and was part of the Pryce Brothers Livestock Dealers. He was a member of Monroe United Methodist Church, the Albany, Brodhead and Monroe Masonic Lodges; Green County Shrine and Billie was a charter member of the Albany Lion's Club.

Billie is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Kristy) Pryce of rural Albany; daughter, Peggy Keeney of Brodhead; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; a sister, Pauline Hulbert of Brodhead. He is predeceased by his wife, Marilyn; sons, Harry and Greg Pryce; brothers, Woodrow, Warren, Virgil Pryce; sisters, Virginia Zimmerman, Ruth Olson and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Monroe United Methodist Church, with Rev. Randy Booth officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Albany. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 at the Church.
