DARLINGTON - Three teenagers were arrested Saturday, Jan. 26, following a traffic stop on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.
The driver, Kasey L. Cooper, 19, Montfort, faces a laundry list of charges and citations. She was jailed on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence.
Deputies stopped the vehicle she was driving at 1:36 p.m.
She was also cited for failure to attach a front registration plate to the vehicle, non-registration of a vehicle, display of unauthorized plates, altering a vehicle registration sticker, driving with a suspended license, transporting intoxicants as an underager, having open intoxicants in vehicle, allowing a seatbelt violation and driving without a rearview mirror or vehicle insurance.
A passenger, Paige E. Martin, 19, Dodgeville, was also arrested and jailed on charges of drug paraphernalia possession and a probation violation.
Another passenger, a 16-year-old, was cited for underage drinking, having open intoxicants in the vehicle and failure to fasten seatbelt. The juvenile was released to a parent.
