Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Friday at 15th Street and 21st Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Jon W. Burreson, 29, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Anaid Dominguez, 27, Monroe. Burreson was cited for failing to yield the right of way. The vehicles received moderate damage.

No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of 8th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Peter J. Buol, 50, Monroe, swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle and hit a parked trailer. Buol's vehicle was towed from the scene.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a hit-and-run accident reported at about 11 a.m. Sept. 13 in a parking lot in the 800 block of Wisconsin 69. Police report a vehicle backed into a parked vehicle owned by Mariann L. Kenny, 63, Neenah, and then left the scene. Kenny's vehicle received minor damage.

No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 6:15 p.m. Friday in a parking lot in the 600 block of Wis. 69. Police report a vehicle owned by Deborah Parker, 54, New Glarus, rolled backward through the parking lot and hit a parked truck owned by Landmark Services.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8:45 a.m. Sunday on Bump Road, west of Peebles Road in Albany township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Cynthia J. Spooner, 31, Brodhead, swerved to avoid a dog in the road, went into the ditch and overturned. Spooner sustained injuries but declined medical treatment. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

n No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Wis. 11 and County GG in Spring Grove township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Martin Gerardo Hernandez, 21, Monroe, was northbound on County GG when it crossed the center line, went into the ditch and hit a road sign. Hernandez was cited for driving without a license causing property damage, and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was released pending court.

A vehicle driven by Jason A. Leopold, 28, Platteville, collided with a deer at about 4:15 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 69 near County H in New Glarus township. After hitting the deer, the vehicle left the road and came to rest in a field. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

n A vehicle driven by Julie A. Uebelacker, 41, Belleville, collided with a deer at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday on County W west of Argue Road in New Glarus township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

A vehicle driven by Randall A. Bansley, 47, Madison, collided with a deer at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 69 north of County NN in New Glarus township. The vehicle received extensive damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Taurino Trujillo Vega, 18, Darlington, was arrested for driving under the influence and driving without a license following a one-vehicle accident at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 23 in Darlington township. Deputies report his vehicle left the road and hit an embankment. He got his vehicle out of the ditch and started driving away from the accident scene. Deputies received a report a vehicle driving down the road without a tire. The vehicle eventually stalled in the road.

A vehicle driven by Dee L. Crist, 29, Belmont, collided with a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Friday on Paulson Road in Blanchard township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
