New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4:15 p.m. Sept. 27 in a parking lot at a business in the 600 block of Wisconsin 69. Police report a vehicle driven by Penelope L. Kubly, 59, New Glarus, backed into a vehicle driven by Elizabeth V. Siegenthaler, 89, Monticello.

No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5:30 p.m. Sept. 27 in a parking lot in the 1400 block of Wis. 69. Police report a vehicle driven by Kevin L. Pryor, 17, New Glarus, collided with a parked vehicle owned by Kari J. Pahl, Belleville. Pryor was cited for driving after the vehicle's registration had been suspended.

No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8 p.m. Sept. 27 in the 1400 block of Wis. 69. Police report a vehicle driven by Joe C. Tiffany, 91, Wausau, was turning toward a parking lot when it went into the ditch and hit an embankment.

A Green County Sheriff's Department squad car, driving by Andrew Kulas, 25, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 2:15 a.m. Sept. 27 on Wis. 39 and Tyvand Road. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Deputies are investigating a one-vehicle accident that took place at about 11 p.m. Sunday on Oak Park Road in Kendall township. Deputies report Michael D. Ray, 21, Mineral Point, a passenger in the vehicle, was taken by private vehicle to Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville for injuries he received in the accident. The vehicle, owned by Thomas Dolphin, Mineral Point, received extensive damage and was towed. The driver of the vehicle left the scene of the accident.

No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:30 a.m. Friday on Red Rock Road in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Elle C. Westerman, 18, Darlington, swerved to avoid a turkey, left the road and went into a ditch. The vehicle received minor damage and was towed.

A vehicle driven by Merlin F. Ramaker, 71, Cuba City, collided with a deer at about 7:15 a.m. Friday on Knee Deep Road in New Diggings township.

A vehicle driven by Katharine M. Place, 18, South Wayne, collided with a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday on Lacey Road in Wayne township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

No one was injured when a vehicle hit a wooden deck at about 10:45 a.m. Saturday on County G in Willow Springs township. Deputies report Steven M. Shoemaker, Mineral Point, parked his vehicle in his driveway and went inside the residence. The vehicle rolled down his driveway, across the road and hit a wooden deck. The vehicle and the deck received moderate damage.

No one was injured when a vehicle rolled from a parking space and hit a tree. The vehicle, owned by Robert N. Reichling, Darlington, received moderate damage.

MONROE - A vehicle driven by Matthew L. Benson, 44, Freeport, collided with a deer at about 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 9200 block of Wis. 69 in New Glarus township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

A vehicle driven by Jamie A. Swan, 38, Brodhead, collided with a deer at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday on South Cincinnati Street in Albany township. The vehicle received minor damage.
