MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:45 p.m. Tuesday on Wisconsin 11 at Steiner Road in Clarno township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Allen S. Bechtolt, 26, Monroe, left the road and overturned. He was taken to the Monroe Clinic hospital. He was arrested for driving under the influence, inattentive driving and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was released pending court. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on Wis. 23 in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Duane Wildermuth, 59, Darlington, left the road and went into a ditch. The vehicle was towed.

A vehicle driven by Peggy Severson, 52, Warren, Ill., collided with a deer at about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday on Wis. 11 in Wayne township.
