MONROE - On Tuesday:

• Michael E. Bartlet, 47, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the N4200 block of Wisconsin 69, Monroe Township, at 7:50 p.m. Bartlet was southbound when a group of several deer ran into the roadway and his vehicle hit one of the deer. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• Jordan J. Bussan, 19, Belleville, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident in the W1800 block of Conservation Road, Albany Township, at 8:20 p.m. Foley was westbound when his car failed to negotiate a curve, causing his car to go into the west ditch and hit several small trees. The car was moderately damaged and towed from the scene. Albany police assisted at the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 151, Belmont Township, at 7:42 a.m. Darrel M. Midthun, 35, DeForest, was driving a semi-truck southbound on U.S. 151. As Midthun passed through the Burr Oak Road, a westbound vehicle driven by Dale Eastlick, 82, Belmont, failed to yield right-of-way to the truck and hit the trailer with his 2001 Saturn. Eastlick's Saturn traveled partially under the trailer and was then forced out, spun around several times in the roadway, coming to rest in the median. Dale Eastlick and his passenger Bernard Eastlick, Pennsylvania, had to be extricated from the vehicle and transported via Belmont EMS to Southwest Healthcare in Platteville. Midthun denied any injuries and refused medical transport. Eastlick's Saturn was extensively damaged and towed from the scene. The semi Midthun was driving was moderately damaged and towed from the scene. The accident remains under investigation. Belmont Fire Department, Lafayette County Highway Department and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.

• Susan N. Maddox, 33, Apple River, Ill., sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle accident on County P, Monticello Township. Maddox was northbound when she lost control at a curve causing the vehicle to travel into the ditch where it went airborne, crossing White School Road prior to hitting an embankment. Maddox was transported via Shullsburg EMS to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Maddox's vehicle was extensively damaged and towed from the scene. Maddox was cited at 11:58 a.m. for failure to have control of a vehicle. Apple River Fire Department, deputies and Shullsburg police assisted at the scene.

• A deputy took a report of a hit-and-run accident at 2:52 p.m. that occurred over the previous weekend on County Z, Darlington Township. A fence was hit by an unknown vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.

• A deputy assisted the Department of Natural Resources by tagging a deer at 10 p.m. that was hit by an unknown vehicle on County G, Belmont Township. The vehicle left the scene, and the accident was not reported.
