NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported at 8:03 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17 during a two-vehicle accident in the 600 block of Wisconsin 69. Reports indicate that Dallas D. Boley, 20, Belleville, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Mario E. Schillaci, 73, Los Alamos, N.M. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Boley was cited for inattentive driving.
Michael S. Jones, 55, Chicago, reported at 10:05 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at the police department that he was involved in an accident in the 600 block of 2nd Street. Reports indicate that Jeff S. Sherven, 34, New Glarus, was cited for inattentive driving.

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a vehicle vs. deer accident at 5:04 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20 in the N4400 block of Wis. 104 in the Town of Decatur. Lynn L. Lunde, 57, Brodhead, was northbound on Wis. 104 when she hit a deer. The vehicle had minor damage and it was driven from the scene.
A deputy located a motor vehicle crash at 8:50 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 in the N100 block of County T in the Town of Spring Grove. Reports indicate that Alexandria E. Mercer, 57, Winnebago, Ill., was northbound in a pickup truck that was towing a tandem axle horse trailer. While rounding a corner, the trailer detached and separated from the towing unit. The trailer rolled over into a field on the east side of the road. The unit was turned upright by nearby residents. The unit suffered moderate damage and it was later towed from the scene. The truck had no damage and there were no injuries.
No injuries were reported at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 during a vehicle accident on Wis. 69, near Patina Lane, in the Town of Clarno. Reports indicate that Leo J. Stadelman, 80, Freeport, was traveling north on Wis. 69 when the motorcycle in front of his vehicle braked. To avoid hitting the motorcycle, Stadelman braked, swerved right and hit a guardrail along the east side of the roadway. Stadelman's vehicle had moderate damage and it was towed from the scene. The guardrail had severe damage.
Jennifer E. Moen, 33, Argyle, was uninjured Monday, Sept. 23 in a van vs. deer crash at 7:24 a.m. on County Y east of Ridge Road in Jordan Township. Moen's van sustained moderate damage to the front end and left front quarter.
n No injuries were reported after Kody D. Klitzke, 16, Monticello, backed into a parked vehicle belonging to Christopher R. Wuebben, 37, Monroe, at 4:06 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23 in the N5000 block of Hyland Circle in Washington Township. There was minor damage to Klitzke's vehicle and moderate damage to Wuebben's vehicle.

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported at 3:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 during a two-vehicle accident on County I in Elk Grove Township. Nicole S. Hammer, 29, Shullsburg, was traveling southbound on County I when Margaret A. Ahlstrom, 60, Shullsburg, was stopped at the stop sign on St. Peters Road. Ahlstrom did not see Hammer's vehicle when she pulled out from the stop sign and into Hammer's path. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Ahlstrom was cited for failing to yield right-of-way from stop sign.
No injuries were reported at 9:33 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 during a two-vehicle accident on County N in Blanchard Township. Raynold R. Saalsaa, 50, Argyle, was traveling northbound when he came around a corner where Shane R. Strassman, 26, Mayville, was traveling southbound. Strassman turned left into the driveway of a residence on County N and turned into the path of Saalsaa. Both vehicles had moderate damage and were driven from the scene. Strassman was cited for failing to yield while making left turn.
Injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 8:25 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs Township. Mark B. Pattinson, 46, Darlington, was traveling southbound on Wis. 23 when a vehicle, driven by Richard H. Ubersox, 63, Darlington, was exiting a private driveway. Pattinson applied the brakes and slid into the northbound lane and into Ubersox's truck. Pattinson was transported to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County with serious injuries. Ubersox and his passenger, Kimberlee A. Jacobsen, 57, Shullsburg, reported no injuries. Pattinson's motorcycle was towed from the scene and Ubersox's truck was driven from the scene. Rural Medical Ambulance and the Darlington Fire Department responded to the accident.
No injuries were reported at 3:52 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 during a one-vehicle accident on W. Mound Road in Belmont Township. Victoria A. Hore, 17, Rewey, was driving southbound when she failed to negotiate a curve. Hore lost control of the vehicle, entered a ditch, and hit a concrete culvert and fence post. The vehicle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
