MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Eighth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Brock J. Hanson, 27, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Janet L. Pensinger, 58, Monroe. Hanson was cited for inattentive driving and released pending court. Both vehicles received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 3:45 p.m. Thursday at Fourth Street and 22nd Avenue. Police report a semi driven by Eric C. Dowse, 28, Cottage Grove, turned the corner and hit a power pole. He was cited for improper turn and released pending court.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday on County FF west of Feldt Road in Sylvester township. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Michael V. Roeschli, 39, Monroe, hit a deer. Roeschli left the scene of the accident. The Monroe Fire Department assisted at the scene in searching for Roeschli utilizing their thermal imaging camera. He was later located and confirmed that he sustained injuries but declined medical treatment. He was cited for non-registration of a vehicle and failure to report an accident. The motorcycle received moderate damage and was towed.
