Lafayette County

DARLINGTON - On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 6:19 a.m. after Aaron T. Nielsen, 39, Belmont lost control of his 2012 Dodge truck as he was traveling on County F in Fayette. Nielsen was cited for failing to notify police of an accident, a hit and run, reckless driving, failure to install an ignition interlock device, driving without a license and without insurance. Nielsen's vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene.

On Monday:

• No injuries were reported at 5:17 p.m. after Shiana E. Anderson, 22, Mineral Point, struck a dog on Cottage Inn Road in Belmont. Anderson's 2012 Ford received minor damage and was driven was from the scene.



Green County

MONROE - On Monday:

• No injuries were reported at 5:27 p.m. Monday after Brandon S. Richardson, 28, Monroe had brake failure, striking a stop sign and breaking it off the post while traveling on a westbound ramp on Wisconsin 81 in Monroe. The vehicle then continued across the northbound travel lanes of Wis. 81, through the grass median, into the southbound travel lanes, and back into the median where the vehicle came to rest. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

On Tuesday:

• No injuries were reported at 3:11 p.m. after Jennifer R. Wild, 18, Monroe left the roadway after being distracted by her cell phone before striking a culvert and a utility pole in the W8700 block of Wisconsin 39 in York. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Wild was cited for Inattentive Driving and released pending a court appearance.

• No injuries were reported at 9:15 p.m. after Eve A. Palmer, 17, Belleville hit the gravel shoulder and overcorrected, traveling up an embankment and coming to a rest in the W4700 block of County W in the Town of Exeter. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Palmer was warned for failure to maintain control.
