MONROE - No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of 8th Street. Reports indicate that Gaylord F. Adam, 43, Westby, hit a pole in a parking lot. The vehicle had moderate damage.

MONROE - Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 2:09 p.m. Wednesday on Benkert Road, west of Wisconsin 69. Reports indicate that Lynne M Bass, 36, Brodhead, was northbound on Benkert Road when she began to slow down for a sharp corner. Bass hit a section of pea gravel and lost control of her motorcycle. Bass then laid the bike down at which time she was ejected. She was wearing a helmet. Bass was transported to Monroe Clinic for threatening injuries. The motorcycle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
