New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported during a vehicle and bicycle accident at 2:36 p.m. Oct. 5 on Wisconsin 69 at 11th Avenue. Reports indicate that Janet K. Urfer, 58, New Glarus, hit Richard Betz, Madison, who was on a bicycle. Urfer was cited for inattentive driving.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 2:16 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Culver's. Reports indicate that Marvin W. Thoman, 80, Monticello, was driving a truck and pulling a John Deere grain bin when he hit a light pole in the parking lot. There was no damage to the vehicle or the grain bin. There was minor damage to the light pole.

- No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 9:45 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of 6th Avenue. Reports indicate that a vehicle backing out of a driveway hit another vehicle that was traveling westbound on 6th Avenue. Rolland W. Schmidt, 58, New Glarus, was cited for operating a vehicle without insurance.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON -Louis W. Martin, 54, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 12:03 a.m. Friday on Wis. 78 in the Town of Argyle.

- Heath J. Hanson, 21, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 7:10 a.m. Friday on County N in the Town of Blanchard.

- Injuries were reported during an ATV accident at 4:28 p.m. Sunday on Fayette Trail in the Town of Willow Springs. Reports indicate that Gerald D. Livengood, 64, Janesville, lost control of an ATV.

- Jaren M. Paulson, 50, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 1:36 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Gratiot. The vehicle had moderate damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 8:12 a.m. Friday on County N, north of Wis. 81, in the Town of Monroe. Reports indicate that Pamela S. Flannery, 60, Monticello, was southbound when she hit a deer. There was moderate front-end damage to her vehicle.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 7:07 p.m. Friday on Wis. 69, near Exeter Crossing Road, in the Town of New Glarus. Reports indicate that H. F. Fuller, 66, Madison was northbound on Wis. 69 when he hit a deer. There was severe damage and it was later towed from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 6:59 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 69, near Hefty Road, in the Town of Washington. Reports indicate that Julie A. Brown, 41, Madison, was northbound on Wis. 69 when she hit a deer. There was caused moderate damage to the vehicle, but it was towed from the scene.
