MONROE - On Saturday, Oct. 5:
Ronald I. Jacobson, 50, Monticello, was uninjured in a car vs. deer crash reported at 6:57 a.m. on Wisconsin 69 a half mile north of Hill Lane in Monroe Township. The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was towed.
Stephany Lynn Morrison, 26, Monroe, and her passenger were uninjured when a gas line broke in Morrison's vehicle and it started on fire on Wis. 59 about a fifth of a mile west of Forest Prairie Park Road in Sylvester Township. Deputies were called to the scene at 1:42 p.m. Morrison was able to pull off the road, and she and her passenger got out. The vehicle sustained extensive fire damage and was towed. The Monroe Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Jill A. Beard, 59, Ridott, and her passenger reported no injuries from a one-vehicle accident at 4:12 p.m. on County FF just east of Balls Mill Road in Sylvester Township. Beard was westbound when a tree limb fell and hit the front windshield, causing moderate damage. The vehicle was towed.

DARLINGTON - Richard K. Douglas, 60, Darlington, reported hitting a deer on Wis. 81 in Argyle Township at 7:06 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.
David A. Zuberbuhler, 56, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer on Chapman Road in Gratiot Township at 7:10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.
