MONROE - On Thursday:
Three vehicle-deer accidents were reported: Michael R. Foulker, W2600 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Jefferson; Brandon W. Miller, W2600 block of Wis., Town of Jefferson; and Stephanie L. Hughes, W7500 Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz.
Deputies responded at 9:40 p.m. to a vehicle crash on Dunphy Road east of County E, Town of Albany. Shawn D. McGettigan, 57, of Belleville was westbound on Dunphy Road when he reportedly fell asleep. The vehicle entered the south ditch, traveling over a private driveway and colliding with an embankment. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. McGettigan was not injured. McGettigan was cited for inattentive driving and failure to maintain control of his motor vehicle and released pending court.

DARLINGTON - At 10:20 a.m. Thursday, a deputy responded to Riverside Road, Gratiot Township, for a one-vehicle accident involving a semi. Seth J. Rowe, 23, Darlington, was traveling northbound on Riverside Road and was traveling too fast to negotiate and maintain control around a curve, causing his 2002 Peterbuilt semi to leave the roadway and strike a utility pole. No injuries were reported and the semi was towed from the scene.
