MONROE - On Friday:

• Rodney H. Marty, 50, New Glarus, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the W2400 block of Wisconsin 92, Town of Exeter, at 5:40 a.m. Marty was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• Wayne A. Gillum, 47, Brownstown Township, Mich., was uninjured in a deer vs. semi crash that occurred on Wisconsin 11 near County M, Town of Cadiz, at 5:50 a.m. Gillum was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his semi-tractor. The semi was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

• Bradley R. Scott, 43, Brodhead, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N4300 block of Wisconsin 59, Town of Sylvester, at 5:26 a.m. Saturday. Scott was northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on West Mound Road, Belmont Township, at 7:20 p.m. Saturday. Jesse H. Gruss, 19, Waupun, was northbound when the vehicle in front of him stopped suddenly in the roadway. Gruss avoided hitting the vehicle in front of him, but his vehicle was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by Andrew J. Dorff, 19, Brookfield. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• No injuries were reported after two parked vehicles were involved in a hit-and-run incident on 3rd Avenue, Benton, at 12:15 a.m. The legally parked vehicles were owned by Cassidy Sapien and Eric Sheaffer, both of Benton, and sustained moderate damage. The suspect vehicle was described as a red Chevrolet car that was eastbound when it hit the rear bumper area of Sapien's vehicle, which slid forward and hit the rear bumper of Sheaffer's vehicle. The suspect vehicle then left the scene.

• Minor injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 78, Argyle Township. Andrew C. Moen, 24, Blanchardville, was eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle causing his vehicle to go into the ditch where it hit a road sign. Moen left the scene and was later located at his residence in Green County. He refused treatment for the injury he received. Moen was cited at 12:47 a.m. for failure to have control of a vehicle, failure to report an accident and hit-and-run causing property damage. Argyle and Blanchardville police, Argyle Fire Department and Argyle EMS assisted at the scene.
