Green County Sheriff
MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the N8000 block of County D in the Town of Exeter. Deputies report Joshua H. W. Broge, 22, Brodhead, was northbound when he lost control on a curve causing his vehicle to roll onto its side. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. Broge was arrested for operating while under the Influence-second offense, insufficient tread depth, operate left of center, failure to maintain control, open intoxicants and obstructing police. Broge was released pending court.
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5:15 p.m. Sunday in the N200 block of Main Street in the parking lot of a business in the Village of Monticello. Deputies reported Bravo Gilberto, 21, Monticello, and Kendall I. Baumgartner, 52, Monticello, both stated they were backing up and didn't see the other vehicle. Both vehicles received very minor damage and were driven from the scene. Deputies also reported property damage.
• Karen L. Cushman, 43, New Glarus, collided with a deer at about 6:45 a.m. Saturday in the N9600 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
• A vehicle driven by Jacqueline A. Staudt-Netzel, 47, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 7 a.m. Saturday in the N7700 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
• A vehicle driven by Richard T. Sawyer, 36, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday in the N8100 block of Wis. 69. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
• A vehicle driven by Nola J. Haldiman, 28, South Wayne, collided with a deer at about 3:45 p.m. Saturday in the N5800 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of Washington. The vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
• A vehicle driven by Connie R. Cline Zentner, 45, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 10:18 p.m. Saturday in the N3100 block of Wis. 81 in the Town of Monroe. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - James Meier, 58, South Wayne, was cited for failure to maintain control at about 8:45 a.m. Sunday after he struck a sign in the Village of South Wayne.
• Richard Ubersox, 59, Darlington reported striking a deer at about 6:45 a.m. Friday on County G in Belmont township.
• Amy Whalen, 44, Darlington, reported striking a deer at about 8 p.m. Sunday on County K in Darlington township.
