Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 1:40 a.m. Friday at 4th Avenue West and West 10th Street. Eric T. Reed, 38, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by a Monroe woman, 34. Reed was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign.

• Minor injuries were reported at 8:03 p.m. Saturday from a two-vehicle accident at North 18th Avenue and Wisconsin 11. Thomas J. Keen, 66, Argyle, collided with a vehicle driven by a Monroe woman, 34. A passenger suffered a minor non-life threatening injury and declined medical treatment. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed. Keen was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while making a left turn.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 5:33 a.m. from a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of County S and Wis. 59, Town of Sylvester. Salvador Timoteo Perez, 35, Beloit, was northbound when he went through the intersection and collided with the ditch. The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed out of the ditch. Timoteo Perez was cited for driving without a valid license (third offense), failure to notify police of an accident, failure to keep vehicle under control (second offense) and driving without vehicle insurance. He was released pending court.

• Garth M. Clark, 26, Albany, reported a car vs. deer crash in the W1600 block of County EE, Town of Albany.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Injuries were reported from an ATV accident at 1:29 p.m. Saturday on the Pecatonica Train, Town of Kendall. Clinton E. Derosier, 48, Beloit, lost control of his 2014 Polaris ATV. The Mineral Point Fire Department and Mineral Point EMS assisted on scene.

On Sunday:

• Jamie J. Kosobucki, 40, Madison, reported hitting a deer on Cannon Road, Town of Fayette, at 9:04 a.m. Kosobucki's 2011 Ford sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported.

• Deputies responded at 1:33 p.m. to U.S. 151, Town of Belmont, for a vehicle fire. The Platteville Fire Department assisted on scene. A 1992 Ford belonging to Derrick J. Pickel, 37, Dubuque, Iowa, sustained severe damage and was towed. No injuries were reported.
