MONROE - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 20th Avenue and 9th Street at 1:48 p.m. Tuesday. Richard M. Reese, 74, Brooklyn, collided with a vehicle driven by a 63-year-old Monroe woman. He was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign.

MONROE - On Tuesday:
No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle crash at 11:16 a.m. in the W900 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Spring Grove. Virgil L. Zills, 68, Ripon, reported that he was eastbound when a tan, four-door car with its headlights on crossed into his lane of travel, causing the vehicle ahead of him, his vehicle and the vehicle behind him to take evasive action to avoid a head-on collision. Zills' vehicle went down over an embankment off the south side of the road and collided with several small trees before coming to a stop. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene after it was towed out of the ditch. Anyone with information about the offending vehicle is encouraged to call the sheriff's department at 328-9400 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 800-I-C-CRIME.
Edward A. Beggs, 64, Brodhead, was injured but declined medical treatment following a motorcycle vs. deer crash at 3:48 p.m. in the N4700 block of County F, Town of Decatur. Beggs reported that he was not wearing a helmet. The motorcycle had minor side damage, and Beggs removed it from the accident scene.
Ethan T. Gale, 24, Oregon, Ill., and his occupants were uninjured in a vehicle vs. deer crash reported at 6:19 p.m. in the W9500 block of Wis. 39, Town of York. The car was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
Shanaye M. Howard, 19, South Wayne, was uninjured in a vehicle vs. deer crash reported at 7:27 p.m. in the W8500 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
Todd P. Knutson, 61, Argyle, was uninjured in a vehicle vs. deer crash reported at 9:02 p.m. in the N6600 block of Biggs Road, Town of Adams. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
