Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 5:13 a.m. Friday in the W6600 block of County B in the Town of Clarno. Reports indicate that Eugene Kundert, 59, Monroe, hit a deer. There was moderate damage to the vehicle and it was driven from the scene. The deer fled.

- No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 1:17 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 69, at County B in the Town of Clarno. Reports indicate that Sean Le Gault, 53, Monroe, was southbound on Wis. 69 when he began to pass another vehicle that was driven by Eugene Hill, 35, Monroe. Le Gault could not safely pass within the passing zone, so he pulled back behind Hill and hit the rear end of Hill's vehicle, causing severe damage to the front and rear of Le Gault's vehicle and the trailer he was pulling. Hill's vehicle had minor damage to the rear end. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. Le Gault was issued a citation for having no insurance and was released.

- Injuries were reported during a three-vehicle accident at 5:06 p.m. Friday on Wis. 69, south of County FF, in the Town of Monroe. Deputies were assisted by the Monroe Fire Department and Green County EMS at the crash scene. Reports indicate that Cheryl Foulker, 53, Monroe, was stopped on Wis. 69, waiting for traffic to pass so she could turn into a private driveway. A second vehicle driven by a Gunnard Fredrickson, 49, Lake Mills, was stopped behind Foulker when a third vehicle driven by a Ryan Erickson, 17, Monroe, failed to stop for Fredrickson and Foulker. Erickson hit the rear end of Fredrickson's car which made Fredrickson's vehicle hit the rear end of Foulker's vehicle, sending it into the ditch. Both Fredrickson and Erickson were transported to the Monroe Clinic E.R. by Green County EMS for injuries received in the crash. Foulker was not injured in the crash. Both Fredrickson and Erickson's vehicles had severe damages and were towed from the scene. Foulker's vehicle had moderate damages and was driven from the scene. Erickson was cited for inattentive driving.

- No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 6:42 p.m. Friday in the N8000 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of New Glarus. Reports indicate that Jay Dailey, 59, Albany, was southbound on Wis. 69 when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer. A second vehicle driven by a Daniel Williams, 41, Albany, was behind Dailey when he applied his brakes after observing Dailey's swerve. Williams lost control of his vehicle, side swiped Dailey's vehicle and then entered the ditch line and hit two road signs. Both vehicles had moderate damage and were driven from the scene. Dailey was cited for no insurance and was released.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 7:30 p.m. Friday on Wis. 81, east of Skinner Hollow Road in the Town of Jordan. Reports indicate that Lance Guerin, 52, Monroe, was eastbound on Wis. 81 when he hit a deer. Guerin's vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The deer was dead at the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 9:14 p.m. Friday in the W 5300 block of Exeter Crossing Road in the Town of New Glarus. Report indicate that Kristopher Hasler, 26, Monticello, was westbound on Exeter Crossing Road when he hit a deer. The vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The deer fled.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 10:19 p.m. Friday in the W 4900 block of Kubly Road in the Town of New Glarus. Reports indicate that Dale Emmerton, 17, New Glarus, was eastbound on Kubly Road, when he hit a deer. The vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The deer was dead at the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 9:43 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 69, near Hefty Road, in the Town of Washington. Reports indicate that Margo A. Klassy, 55, Monroe, was northbound on Wis. 69 when she hit a deer. Klassy's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 6:07 p.m. Sunday in the N9700 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of New Glarus. Reports indicate that Christopher A. Krebs, 41, Monroe, was southbound on Wis. 69 when he hit a deer. The vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 9:56 p.m. Sunday in the N9400 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of New Glarus. Reports indicate that Brian K. Nash, 45, New Glarus, was southbound on Wis. 69 when he hit two deer with his semi. The semi had minor damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - Werner U. Gerber Jr., 67, Browntown, reported hitting a deer at 6:40 p.m. Friday on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Mary C. Monson, 44, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 11:07 p.m. Friday on County M in the town of Wiota.

- Delvere L. Norland, 64, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 6:16 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 78 in the Town of Wiota.

- Jason L. Miller, 30, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 8 a.m. Sunday on Wicks Road in the Town of Gratiot.

- Robert J. Kruser, 39, Epworth, Iowa, reporting hitting a deer at 6:04 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

- Cody B. Bocklund, 21, Monroe, reported hitting a deer at 9:20 p.m. Sunday on County M in the Town of Wayne.
