Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 1:36 p.m. Friday on North 18th Avenue at Wisconsin 11. Nicolas A. Waelti, 27, Monroe, turned north onto North 18th Avenue from the Wis. 11 off-ramp and struck a vehicle northbound on North 18th Avenue. He was cited for making an improper left turn.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Minor injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident with one of the vehicles on its side at 7:07 p.m. Nov. 26 on Wisconsin 69 at County W. A Pontiac G6 driven by Mackenzie L. Weiss, 16, New Glarus, failed to yield right-of-way at a stop sign and collided with a northbound Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep rolled several times before coming to a rest. Weiss was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign. Both vehicles were towed.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Saturday:

• Eric G. Peterson, 51, Blanchardville, sustained minor injuries in a semi crash at 6:51 a.m. in the Town of York. Peterson was northbound driving a semi unit in the N8900 block of Sunnyside Road when he took evasive action to avoid some animals in the road. The semi unit went into the ditch and overturned on its side. It sustained moderate damage and was towed. Peterson declined medical attention. The Blanchardville Fire Department assisted deputies.

• Mckenzie A. Scott, 16, Browntown, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident at 7:08 a.m. in the 300 block of North Mill Street in Browntown. She was northbound when she lost control on a curve and hit a power pole and phone box on the east side of the road. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed.

• Travis R. Krychowiak, 16, Monticello, was uninjured in a vehicle fire at 4:21 p.m. in the Town of Washington. He was westbound on County C near Hammerly Lane when his vehicle caught fire. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed. The Monticello Fire Department responded to the scene.

On Tuesday:

• No injuries were reported when Teri A. Bredeson, 33, Argyle, was involved in a one-vehicle crash with property damage where the driver left the scene at 6:15 a.m. in the W8700 block of Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Jordan. Teri A. Bredeson, 33, Argyle, was westbound on Wis. 81 when she reported that she swerved to miss a deer. Bredeson's vehicle left the road and struck a fence. Bredeson left the scene of the crash and was cited for failure to notify police of a crash and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. Bredeson was released pending court. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported after Elisabeth C. L. Munich, 33, Mineral Point struck a deer at 9:51 a.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs. Her 2004 Volkswagen Passat sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported after Deborah E. James-Rideout, 42, Darlington, struck a deer at 11:12 p.m. on Fort Defiance Road. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

On Saturday, Nov. 25:

• No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 4:46 a.m. on County G, Town of Belmont. Ronald D. Butler, 26, Montfort, was northbound on County G when he lost control on a corner, continued straight and hit an embankment. His 2012 Chevrolet Cruze sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after John C. Maveus, 49, Monroe, struck a deer at 2:14 p.m. on County D, Town of Wiota. His 2011 Chevrolet Silverado sustained moderate damage and was towed.

• No injuries were reported after Kyle V. Priebe, 21, Browntown, struck a deer at 6:50 p.m. on County N, Town of Wayne. His 2008 Ford Escape sustained moderate damage and was towed.

• Hanh T.G. Wick, 46, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 9:55 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

On Sunday, Nov 26:

• No injuries were reported after Amanda M. Akins, 31, Monroe, struck a deer at 7:09 p.m. on Wayne Center Road, Town of Wayne. Akin's Chevrolet was severely damaged and towed.

On Monday:

• No injuries were reported when Trent T. Nyffenegger, 23, Darlington struck a deer at 6:36 a.m. on Wisconsin 81 in LaMont Township. Nyffenegger's Ford Fusion sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported when Carol I. Carney, 76, Brodhead, struck a deer at 10:13 a.m. on Wis. 81 in Elk Grove Township. Carney's Chevrolet Equinox sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported when Dixie J. Davis, 70, Darlington, struck a deer at 4:53 p.m. on Wis. 81 in Lamont Township. Davis' Chevrolet S10 sustained minor damage.

On Tuesday:

• No injuries were reported when Janet M. Andrews, 75, Argyle, was involved in a one-vehicle versus tractor crash at 8:45 a.m. on Wis. 81 in Argyle Township. Andrews was traveling on Wis. 81 when she attempted to pass a tractor driven by Mark H. Johnson, 56, Browntown. While Andrews attempted to pass, the tractor pulled into a field causing Andrews to strike the tractor. Andrew's 2016 Chrysler and the New Holland tractor sustained minor damage. Andrews was cited for passing in a no passing zone.

• No injuries were reported when Diane K. Winslow, 54, Gratiot, struck a deer at 5:15 p.m. on County K in Darlington Township. Winslow's 2010 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported when Robert C. Cook was involved in a one-vehicle crash versus cattle at 6:20 p.m. on County W in Monticello Township. Cook was traveling eastbound on County W when he struck some cattle that were in the road. Cook's 1994 Ford sustained severe damage and was towed. Shullsburg Ambulance and Apple River, Illinois Fire Department assisted.
