Lafayette County Sheriff
DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on County W in the Town of New Diggings at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1. Jeremy J. Bass, 39, Benton, swerved to miss a deer, causing the rear tire to fall off the 2003 Mitsubishi he was driving. He was able to safely stop the vehicle. The Mitsubishi sustained minor damage.

MONROE - No injuries and moderate vehicle damage were reported in the following deer vs. vehicle collisions Thursday, Nov. 1:
• Michael L. Zweifel, 43, Albany, at 7:23 p.m. in the W1900 block of County EE in the Town of Albany.
• Barbette S. Anderson, 58, Madison, at 9:08 p.m. on County C east of County J in the Town of Adams.
