New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident that took place at about 9:45 a.m. Saturday on 9th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Kenneth R. Colden, 53, New Glarus, was backing out of a driveway and hit a vehicle owned by Chad A. Murray, 34, New Glarus. The vehicles received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:45 p.m. Sunday on 2nd Street near 4th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by David H. Gilbertson, 60, Argyle, was backing from a parking stall and hit a vehicle driven by Justin P. Bowles, 24, Shullsburg, which was stopped in the road to pick up passengers. The vehicles received minor damage.

• Officers are investigating a hit and run accident that took place between 7 and 10 p.m. Oct. 27 on 2nd Street. Police report a vehicle owned by Cynthia L. Buttke, 49, Juda, was hit by another vehicle, which then left the scene. Anyone with information can contact the police department at (608) 527-2145.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Dawn A. Little, 30, Janesville, was arrested for second-offense drunken driving and failure to maintain control of a vehicle following a one-vehicle accident at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the 6800 block of County X. Deputies report Little's vehicle left the road and went into a ditch. Little and her passenger, Allen M. Carstensen, 17, Albany, were taken to the Monroe Clinic for non-life threatening injuries. Carstensen was cited for underage drinking and a seatbelt violation. The vehicle received minor damage and was towed. The Albany Fire Department and Albany Emergency Medical services assisted at the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Nancy J. Dammen, 66, Argyle, collided with a deer at about 11:15 p.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 81 east of Skinner Hollow Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by David S. Steensen, 38, Belleville, collided with a deer at about 3 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 92 and Freidig Road. The vehicle received extensive damage.

• A vehicle driven by Julie A. Mason, 28, Argyle, collided with a deer at about 4:45 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 81 east of Jordan Center Road. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Timothy J. Miller, 20, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 81 at Jordan Center Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

n A vehicle driven by Sharon K. Hilliard, 45, Verona, collided with a deer at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 7700 block of Wis. 69. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Stephanie L. Baird, 29, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday in the 7900 block of Wis. 69. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Timothy S. Sarow, 21, Brodhead, collided with a deer at about 10 p.m. Sunday on County F east of Crazy Horse Lane in Decatur township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 1:15 a.m. Friday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Emily J. Wilhelmson, 16, Darlington, left the road and went into a field. Wilhelmson sustained injured. She was cited for failure to have control of her vehicle.

• No one was injured in a vehicle fire at about 4 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by David R.B. Kushmir, 19, Skokie, Ill., overheated ands caught fire. The Belmont Fire Department responded to the scene. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Gregory R. Frechette, 30, Dodgeville, hit a deer at about 6 p.m. Friday on Ames Road in Darlington township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Gary L. Westemeier, 61, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about 7:15 Friday on Wis. 11 in Gratiot township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Jesse D. Johnson, hit a deer at about 5:15 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 78 in Gratiot township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Heidi R. Brederson, 42, Darlington, hit a deer at about 6 p.m. Sunday on County G in Argyle township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Ashley J. Walton, 24, Warren, Ill., hit a deer at about 7 p.m. Sunday on Riverbend Road in Gratiot township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Lloyd B. Meng, 29, Gratiot, hit a deer at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
