NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident in the 100 block of 5th Avenue at 9:39 a.m. Wednesday. One vehicle was backing out of a driveway when it collided with a legally parked vehicle.

MONROE - On Saturday:

• Erica N. Schmid, 35, Monroe, and her passenger Justin D. Halvorson, 28, Juda, were injured in a single-vehicle crash at 10:13 a.m. in the W2900 block of Mill Street, Town of Jefferson. Schmid lost control of the vehicle as she was turning westbound onto Mill Street from County S. The vehicle left the road and went into a ditch before striking residential steps and overturning. Schmid was taken by Monroe EMS to a hospital for treatment of her injuries. Halvorson's injuries were minor. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed.

• Amber L. Sies, 18, Brooklyn, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 8:32 a.m. in the W1000 block of Wisconsin 92, Town of Brooklyn. She was westbound when she lost control on a curve. The vehicle left the road and went into the south ditch. The vehicle sustained undercarriage damage and was towed.

On Sunday:

• Patrick A. O'Neill, 77, Mount Horeb, was uninjured in a vehicle vs. animals crash in the N8800 block of County J, Town of York. Deputies responded to the scene at 5:19 p.m. O'Neill had been southbound when he hit a Holstein cow and a dog in the road, then left the scene without reporting the crash. Deputies located him parked along County J. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed. O'Neill was cited for failure to report a crash.
